Apa yang dapat dilakukan oleh orang yang telah merasa benar2 down (hit rock bottom)? Hanya satu yang dapat dilakukannya. Yaitu mencoba lagi (go up).
Kehidupan tidaklah selalu sesuai dengan impian dan keinginan kita. Pasti ada saat di mana kita akan merasa really down karena keinginan kita tidak terpenuhi dan ada juga saat kita bahagia karena keinginan kita tercapai.
Yang terpenting yang harus diingat adalah bagaimana para penemu tidak pernah berputus asa dalam mencoba.
Bayangkan bila Thomas Alfa Edison berhenti begitu penemuan pertamanya gagal – tidak akan ada lampu sekarang ini kan?
Bayangkan juga jika penemu 7-up berhenti segera setelah penemuan pertamanya. Tidak akan ada namanya 7-up (tahu tidak kalau 7-up itu diambil dari jumlah penemuannya yang gagal sampai akhirnya menemukan formula minuman yang sekarang terkenal itu? Ya… 6 kali gagal. Pada saat penemuan ke-7 – berhasil. Akhirnya dikasihlah nama 7-up).
Siapa sih yang tidak pernah gagal?
Coba tanya semua pengusaha sukses sekarang ini… semua pasti pernah gagal.
Tapi yang penting adalah bagaimana menghadapi kegagalan itu. Perbedaan antara orang yang benar-benar gagal dalam hidup (Loser) dan pemenang (Winner) ada dalam sikap menghadapi kegagalannya.
Saat gagal – yang perlu dilakukan adalah evaluasi ulang mengenai apa yang telah terjadi. Pelajari kesalahan demi kesalahan yang mengakibatkan kegagalan tersebut dan memperbaikinya di kesempatan lainnya.
Down karena gagal wajar tapi jangan berlarut-larut dan menjadikan itu pegangan hidup. Percaya deh kalo misalnya seperti itu… kehidupanmu pasti akan dipenuhi dengan ‘awan hitam’. Gagal sekarang bukan berarti selamanya gagal kan???
Jadi…
When u hit rock bottom… all u can do is go up….
So… mari kita going UP UP UP UP AND AWAY (spt superman) dan mewujudkan kegagalan kita menjadi sebuah keberhasilan di masa depan.
